I am totally OBSESSED with making this easy dough! You can turn it into so many things: calzones (which I did a few recipes ago), bagels, pizza crust... whatever you want! It’s much higher in protein and lower in carbs than other doughs, and tastes exactly the same. This week, I turned them into pulled pork bombs that are perfect for both kids and adults ♀️
Servings: 4 (1 serving = 6 bombs)
Calories per serving: 385 cal
Protein per serving: 27 g
Carbs per serving: 51 g
Ingredients:
1 lb plain cooked pulled pork (I got mine from Sams Club)
2 oz reduced fat shredded cheddar
½ cup BBQ sauce
1.5 cups all purpose flour
1.5 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
Directions:
1. Prepare easy dough by mixing flour, Greek yogurt, and baking powder in a large bowl. Pinch off dough about the size of a tablespoon, roll in hands into a ball, then pat flat. Place a small amount of pork in the center of dough, close dough around the pork, and roll into a ball. Repeat until all dough and pork mixture are gone.
2. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil and align bombs. Scramble egg in small dish, then brush egg wash on top of each bomb. Place in oven on 380 for 15-20 mins.
3. Remove from oven, then increase temperature to 425. Sprinkle each bomb with a tiny amount of cheddar cheese and place back in oven for 5 mins. Remove from oven, drizzle with BBQ sauce, and enjoy!
