I’ve had a lot of requests from my patients lately to post a dessert recipe so here it is! One of my favorites These banana bites require ONLY 3 ingredients and are a great, nutritious substitute for ice cream or other cold desserts! They are so easy to put together and easy to grab out of the freezer when you need something sweet Stay tuned next week for another bonus dessert recipe!
Servings: 4 (1 serving = 4 banana bites)
Calories per serving: 86 cal
Protein per serving: 3 g
Carbs per serving: 16 g
Ingredients:
2 bananas
4 tablespoon PB Fit powder (mixed with water to make peanut butter)
14g (about 2 pieces) semi-sweet baker’s chocolate
Directions:
1. Slice each banana into 16 slices
2. Spread PB onto one slice of banana, then top with another slice to make a little “sandwich.”
Repeat until all banana slices and PB are gone. When finished, you should have 16 banana bites.
3. Line a pan or sheet with parchment paper, and place banana bites on it. Place in freezer for at
least 4 hours then enjoy!
*When banana bites are completely frozen, it may be a good idea to bag them in individual
portions for easy-grabbing!*
