In a society that is so “carb shy” it is so important to remember that none of our macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat) are bad. Our bodies need something from each of them!

Protein per serving: 20 g
Carbs per serving: 50g (with 12g fiber!)
½ cup old fashioned oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
¾ cup skim milk
2 tablespoon Legendary apple pie nut butter (can also use peanut butter or nut butter of choice!)
Sprinkle of cinnamon
1. Combine oats, milk, and chia seeds into a jar and shake well. Place in refrigerator over night.
2. Dump oatmeal into bowl and microwave for 1 minute, stir, and then microwave for 1 more minute
3. Stir in nut butter and cinnamon then enjoy!
