✨ Surviving the Holiday’s first recipe!


If you missed my segment on this past Monday’s Delmarva Life episode, don’t fret! We discussed ‘Surviving’ the Holidays with some lighter versions of classic recipes!

As always, we definitely don’t want to be too strict during the holidays ♀️ but balancing the happy with the healthy will help you enjoy the holidays while feeling good on the inside and outside These protein cookies are perfect for Santa not only are they lighter, they’ll also keep you full with extra protein

Calories per serving: 95
Protein per serving: 2g
Carbs per serving: 13g
Fat per serving: 6g
Ingredients:
6 tablespoon Truvia
6 tablespoon light brown sugar
¼ cup butter (softened)
¼ cup olive oil
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 egg white
1 tablespoon skim milk
1 cup all purpose flour
¼ cup vanilla protein powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
⅓ cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Add Truvia, brown sugar, oil, butter, vanilla, egg white, and milk to large bowl and mix well using electric mixer, hand mixer, or whisk. Then add flour, protein powder, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Then fold in chocolate chips.
3. Scoop dough onto cookie sheet into 21 balls (about 1.5-2 tablespoon each) and bake for ~8 mins until golden on top. Use spatula to transfer to plate and enjoy!
