Hi! My name is Alyson and I am a Registered Dietitian & Certified Diabetes Educator. I have been working in the medical weight loss field for the past 5 years in both MD and DE. I love helping my patients reach their weight loss goals in a personalized way that allows them to be both happy and healthy.
For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved to cook - and eat! I’ve also always been great at cooking tasty foods, but they weren’t always the healthiest.
As I began my journey as a nutritional professional, I realized just how big of a role food plays in our overall health. I began looking for healthier recipes online, but I found most of them to be boring and unappealing. As I began to experiment more in the kitchen, I found that I was able to create healthy meals that were delicious and much more exciting than the bland recipes online!
My goal through this page is to share the recipes that I meal prep each week, to show that eating healthy doesn’t have to just be grilled chicken with broccoli for every meal. Eating nutritious meals can still feel like eating your favorite comfort foods. I hope that if you stumble across this page, you will become inspired to branch out, try new things, and create your own healthy recipes!
