❄️ My sister, brother in law, and doggy niece are snowed in with us (much to my excitement) and we’ve been eating out more than normal this weekend. I posted this burger bowl a few years back and wanted to bring it back around today! Its super delicious and is helping me get back on track with my nutrition after this weekend (even though it doesn’t taste like a typical “healthy dinner”)
➡️ Scroll down to see my kitchen helper Lexi and her cousin Piper having fun in the snow! ⛄️

Check out the recipe video on TikTok! (In the video and IRL I totally forgot to add cheese -which never happens for me since I love cheese but it’s fine )

20-Min Burger Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 white onion chopped
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ½ tablespoon steak seasoning
- 1 head cabbage sliced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ cup shredded low fat cheddar
- Pickle slices to taste
- Sesame seeds to taste
Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup light mayonnaise
- 6 slices dill pickle chopped fine
- 2 tablespoon Yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon White wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- Drizzle pan with olive oil, add onions and sauté over medium heat until onions are transparent (not all the way done). Then add ground beef and steak seasoning to pan and cook (stirring constantly) for 10-15 mins until fully cooked. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Add 1 teaspoon olive oil and chopped cabbage to same pan that meat was in, and cook over medium heat for about 10 mins until cabbage is tender
- While cabbage is cooking, combine sauce ingredients, whisk thoroughly, and set aside
- When cabbage is finished, spoon cabbage into bowl, top with meat, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, add pickle slices, add sauce, and finish by sprinkling some sesame seeds on top! Enjoy!
